Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence Services Portfolio

EAI: Overview

Most of the large enterprises have a network of homegrown applications, packaged solutions and legacy systems that need to interact with each other to share data, files and functionalities. Traditionally, most of the integration solutions were proprietary in terms of programming languages or APIs used and were very invasive in nature. To address this, initially middleware tools like IBM MQSeries were used to help share data across disparate systems. However, as businesses grew, there was a need to provide integration solutions that could address not only sharing data across disparate systems, but also integrate processes.

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) addresses this by providing a layered approach to integration at the data, application, platform and process levels.

Supportian's EAI Value Proposition

  • Expertise on leading EAI tools (TIBCO, webMethods, IBM MQ/WBI, SeeBeyond, BizTalk, iBOLT)
  • Proven methodology for EAI projects
  • Hands-on experience in implementing EAI full suite projects
  • Center of Excellence (CoE) based continuous learning
  • Leverage on Supportian's .Net, AS400, Mainframe, SAP, Data Warehousing and J2EE expertise

Supportian's EAI practice has a dedicated group of experienced Technical Architects, Analysts, Technical Leads and certified developers on leading EAI tools such as TIBCO, MQ/WBI, webMethods and BizTalk Server.

Supportian list of EAI customers include Cendant, Volvo, CompuCom to name a few. Some of the current EAI projects under execution include SAP integration using MQ/WBI for Volvo; production support on webMethods interfaces for CompuCom; development on TIBCO and webMethods interfaces for Cendant; development on BizTalk interfaces for Stanley; and a proof-of-concept (POC) on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for a retail chain in India.
